Friday Night Funkin', commonly abbreviated as FNF, is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released on October 5, 2020. The game was developed by a team of four people. using Newgrounds, Cameron "Ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "kawaisprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay in common with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper, and is aesthetically influenced by Adobe Flash games. This is a music game, your task is to win a kiss from your girlfriend but to do that you have to convince her dad. You will do that by singing in fierce and intense rap battles.

Story In FNF

The main goal of the Friday Night Funkin' game is to feel the rhythm and play certain music to impress your girlfriend's father. Just like in real life, even in this game, the lover is very nervous about impressing his girlfriend's father. Your girlfriend's dad has challenged you to beat him at his own game if you want to be with her. Dad is a former rock star and it will be difficult to impress him. Your mission is to win a kiss from your girlfriend but to do that, you have to convince her dad by doing the best music you can.

The father will give you a bit of work in the musical challenge. If you don't do all these missions, you will get shot. Your girlfriend's dad will punch you in the stomach to get rid of you. But don't worry about that. Keep trying until you find a fun and sweet date with your ideal MILK. With the moves we make to the beat of the music, you'll be rapping with the dad.

Friday Night Funkin' gameplay

Rhythm games are fun to play alone or with your friends. The mechanics are simple, and your success often depends on your sense of rhythm and visual cues. During FNF play, the opponent will sing a series of notes. The game offers a tutorial and has two game modes: a free mode where you will rhyme non-stop and a story mode where you can face one character after another for as long as You can beat them.

In the free mode, this is considered a warm-up mode for you to practice your skills in the game. Be focused and patient, your music level will improve day by day.

In story mode, you will have to win rap battles against various opponents over the course of 7 weeks. Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player has to pass several levels, called "weeks", each week containing 3 songs. Each week, players face a different opponent, although some weeks are not like that but include multiple opponents.

The game will ask you to press a key at a specific time: the screen will show which key to press and the game will score points for both the specific time and the shorter time. Use WASD or the arrow keys to better align each arrow. The result of each lap is determined by a gauge at the bottom of the screen.
